This picture is my favourite one from the 50 i've taken. It shows the comparison between the dull looking plums and the bright pomegranate that stands out completely.
I like the way the colours and textures really stand out and look quite rich in the frame. I also like the composition of this photo, and how the fruits are lined up.
It goes with my artist Cezanne, who concentrates of the shape of the fruits and other things surrounding it, such as triangles, circles and rectangles. Below is an annotated version of this picture.
The reflection of one fruit onto another looks particularly interesting, as it adds to the texture of the fruits. I like the way the pomegranate seems to look like its bruised where the plums are reflecting on it. In contrast to this, there is also a glowing patch of white on the other side to make the fruit stand out.
One thing however i would want to improve would be getting rid of the patch behind the pomegranate, where the bench isn't covered by any wood.

I like this picture because the textures really stand out, i wanted to concentrate on textures near the beginning of my project, this is because the artist i was looking at really bought out the textures in his fruits, making them look very realistic and attractive.
The subject is very clear in this picture as the background is blurred and simple, but not boring. I also really like the juice drop thats coming out of the fruit, and i think its the detail in that drop that makes the picture look attractive.
The colour pallette in this picture is very soft and pleasant to look at, the way the pink turns into a soft peach and orange colour.

I really like the concept of this picture, the way the use of lines on the knife almost point at the pomogrante to guild the audience into looking at the reflection created by the knife. I really like how the image of the pomograte can be seen as a whole circle even from where the knife is cutting it because of the reflection.

I like this image because it shows the use of the subject. And i also really like the use of cropping and depth of field in the image.

I like this image because of the contrast between the fruit, and the metal and concrete. this is becuase it goes very well with my idea of having man made vs. nature, and the contrast between these two objects are very clear. I also like the use of depth of field in the image to make the subject of the image look a lot more sharper than the background.
