Nature Vs. Manmade

Images I Preferred

Picture
I really like this image bacause it shows  a wall made by a man, then broken through nature.
I really like this shot because of the macro effect. However, the image is too simple and it doesnt really look too effective in the sense that nature is a lot more stronger than man in this case.

These three images show close ups of man made things that have been eroded away becuase of the weather's effect on it. However, these things still work and keep doing their job, for example the bolts are still locked together, and the pipes are still proving the house with electricity. I feel that this gives a sense of competition between the man made things and natures effect on them. Coming to a conclusion that the fight is endless.

Here is a picture of a web made by a spider which is completely natural, and the strength of this naturaly made web is seen through the amount of rain drops that are sitting on this web, and still not breaking down. I like this picture becuase of the clear and nice shot of the web, however, the background makes the image look less attractive, and there is a lack of lighting in the image too.

About.

I the 1950s men built a cascade which was then collapsed due to a violent storm in the 1768. It was then re built again in 1980 by George III.
I came to a conclusion that according to the history the battle between the man made cascade, and the natural river is endless.

Men built a Cascade on the Royal Landscape
A storm came and broke it down
Men re built the cascade within days, and expanded the lake.
Eventually, these rocks will erode away, or another storm could come back, then men would build another cascade with not much problem

As you can see above, the battle is continuous, and can go on for a long time. The nature is very unpredictable and comes and destroys the man made cascade, whilst man keeps building it back quite quickly.

Below I have shown some pictures of the Cascade itself, as well as some other pictures that I took whilst I was there.
